Hing Sev is made from besan and finest quality hing (asafoetida), giving it a sharper, more savoury edge than plain sev. Soft to eat, with a spicy Rajasthani flavour that works well on its own with chai, or sprinkled over upma, sprout salad and poha for extra kick. It is also the sev used in the classic Rajasthani sev tamatar ki sabji.
From Chandra Vilas, making namkeen since 1947. Made in groundnut or cottonseed oil, never palm oil.
