Peanut (55%), Edible Vegetable Oil, Refined Wheat Flour, Starch, Ground Spices and Condiments (Iodised Salt, Red Chilli, Clove, Coriander, Cumin, Black Pepper, Dried Ginger, Dehydrated Garlic, Cinnamon, Mace, Nutmeg, Asafoetida, Sugar)
Peanuts coated in a spiced batter and fried crisp, built as a chakna snack for drinks or a heavier chai-time bite than plain roasted peanuts. The masala blend runs through the coating itself rather than being dusted on top, so the flavour does not shake off in the packet.
From Chandra Vilas, making namkeen since 1947. Made in groundnut or cottonseed oil, never palm oil.
