Rajasthani Mixture was created in 1947 by Shri Prabhu Dayal Ji, who tested combination after combination before settling on these exact 14 traditional namkeens, blended in fixed proportions so each one complements the next rather than competing for attention. In 1950, the Government of Rajasthan recognised the recipe — and it has been Chandra Vilas’s best-selling product ever since. Today it is made the same way, under the ownership of Govind Narayan and Naveen Khandelwal.
Crunchy, spiced, with a mild sweet-and-spicy tang running through it — this is a mix built for a cup of chai, not a formal meal. Made in groundnut or cottonseed oil, never palm oil.
